Rochester Gymnast competing for spot on US National Team

TAMPA BAY, FL (WHEC) – Rochester Gymnast, Kieryn Finnel, will compete for a spot on the US National Gymnastics team this weekend in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Finnell, 14, got to the qualifying event by scoring well enough in the American Classic and the US Classic. She was the uneven bar champion in both events.
“I can just tell everyone is like super excited and it’s a really good atmosphere here,” Finnell said.
She takes the stage on Sunday evening at 7pm. You can watch it on News 10 NBC.
