16 year old shot near Hawley and Genesee streets Saturday morning

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Police say a woman was shot in the area of Hawley and Genesee streets at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The victim is a 16-year-old Rochester resident. Police say she was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle with non-life threatening injuries.

This investigation is ongoing, and officials have no suspect in custody at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
