Dump truck crash causes part of State Route 531 westbound to close

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a dump truck crash around a bridge has caused part of State Route 531 westbound to close.
The crash happened around Gilette Road in Ogden on Tuesday morning. That crash has caused traffic to shut down on 531 westbound between Manitou Road and Union Street. The sheriff’s office is checking on the integrity of the bridge.
