9/11 remembrance events this weekend in Rochester area

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Sunday marks 21 years since the terror attacks on 9/11, a day we’ll never forget.
19 terrorists hijacked four planes on Sept. 11, 2001. Two planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. A third plane hit the Pentagon.
A fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people died and 25,000 more were injured.
Communities around the greater Rochester area will be paying tribute this weekend. Here are some of the events going on around town. Look for our coverage on News10NBC Today and Sunday at 6 and 11 p.m.
