BROCKPORT, N.Y. — We have new details about a robbery in the parking lot of the Walmart in Brockport on Sunday. A witness sent News10NBC a video of some tense moments.

Monroe County sheriff’s deputies say it all started when a man stole a bunch of meat. That’s when a person who saw the theft approached the suspect. Deputies say the suspect had a sharp object, possibly a knife, and that’s when the person pulled out his legally registered handgun.

The suspect took off and is not in custody. Deputies are asking anyone with information to call 911.
