ROCHESTER, N.Y. — More than 150 artists will showcase their work and compete for awards at the Rochester Public Market on Sunday for Artist Row.
The 18th annual art show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Judges will decide which artists will receive nearly $1,000 in prize money.
Artist Row also includes live music, food trucks, and family activities. All proceeds from the event will go to the non-profit Friends of the Public Market, which supports a variety of programs at the market.
Derrick Doi, Vice President of the Friends of the Rochester Public Market, said the event allows artists of all backgrounds to present their work.
“This year’s Artist Row continues to attract a combination of experienced and emerging artists,” Doi said. “We will continue to feature a stronger focus on increasing diversity to reflect our vibrant community and showcase a variety of mediums.”
