Boy, 16, shot on city’s northeast side

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A boy, 16, was shot on the city’s northeast side overnight. It happened at the corner of Bauman and Weaver streets around 10:40 p.m. on Thursday.

An ambulance took the boy to Strong Hospital and he is expected to survive. Rochester Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.

No suspects are in custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
