Boy recovering after being hit by truck crossing Lake Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A 16-year-old was hit while crossing the street at midnight Sunday morning.

Rochester Police said the boy was getting off the bus at Lake Avenue and Merrill Street when he was hit by a 21-year-old woman driving a pickup truck.

The boy was taken to Strong Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police are investigating and no arrests have been made.
