BROCKPORT, N.Y. Another local festival took place this weekend, this one in the village of Brockport. The village was lined with hundreds of artists, musicians, and food vendors for the Brockport Arts Festival.
This is the first time since 2019 that the festival has been held due to a Covid hiatus. Event organizers said how wonderful it was to be back.
“I think it can’t be stated enough how important festivals are in coming together. For our own community its been important to bring folks in, remind them of all the good things that are Brockport, we arranged the festival in such a way that it includes all of our local businesses so they have an opportunity to connect with the great community and it has just been wonderful,” said Kari Pardun, Village Clerk Treasurer and Event Organizer.
Th first year back for the festival was a success, and many of the attendees said how excited they are to return next year.
