Canandaigua man arrested for rape in July charged with additional criminal sex act after another victim comes forward

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — 43-year-old Jeffrey V. Kuney of Canandaigua, was arrested on Wednesday for criminal sex act and criminal sale of a controlled substance for crimes that happened in the town of Canandaigua. 

These charges are the result of an additional victim coming forward after learning of Kuney’s arrest for rape on July 25.   

Further investigation led State Police to the seizure of cocaine and prescription drugs, which Kuney reportedly provided to one of his victims.

Kuney is currently awaiting arraignment at Ontario County Jail.
