Citizen journalist sentenced to prison for violating probation

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Citizen journalist Geoffrey Rogers is headed to prison.
News10NBC confirmed Rogers was sentenced to two to four years for violating his probation. According to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, he was on probation for a robbery in Erie County.
According to jail records, Rogers is due back in court oct. 8.
