Fire damages inside of church on Forbes Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A fire on Tuesday morning damaged the inside of a church on Forbes Street on the city’s southwest side.

The Rochester Fire Department put out the two-alarm fire at Trinity Inter-Faith Church. The building was still smoking when News10NBC’s crew arrived at the scene.

Firefighters say no one was inside the church when the fire started. RFD is still investigating the cause.
