Man injured after being hit while walking on Creek Street; MCSO Major Crimes Unit is investigating

PENFIELD, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating after a man was hit by a car and injured while he was walking on Creek Street in Penfield.
The crash between Embury and Longsworth roads happened just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Deputies say his romatic partner, a woman, was behind the wheel of the SUV.
Deputies performed first aid once they arrived and the man remains hospitalized as of Wednesday. Major Crimes investigators are still gathering evidence. They’re asking anyone with video or information to call 911.
