Despite cloud cover, Rochester celebrates eclipse

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – For a few minutes Monday afternoon, much of our area stopped and looked to the sky.
Granted, the sun was well hidden by clouds, and we didn’t get those brilliant shots of the moon blocking the sun, but it did get dark.
The lack of clear skies only slightly dampened excitement – with one woman even commenting the experience was better than Disneyland.
