ESL employee accused of stealing $60K

ONTARIO COUNTY – An ESL Federal Credit Union employee is accused of stealing more than $60,000 from multiple bank accounts.

Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say while working at the Hopewell branch, Aixa Resendiz, 21, of Clifton Springs withdrew the money from several customers’ accounts between March and August. She has been charged with grand larceny.

ESL has reimbursed all customers affected by the theft.
