Fairport Oktoberfest starts on Thursday

FAIRPORT, N.Y. — The 13th annual Fairport Oktoberfest kicks off at 4 p.m. on Thursday. The event celebrating German traditions runs through Saturday.

The festival will have live music, German food, and plenty of beer. Finger Lakes Alpine Band and Genesee Valley Band are some of the live performers. You can see a schedule and the beer selection on the festival’s website.

The festival is at Fairport Junction at 9 Liftbridge Lane East. Tickets are $10 at the gate and $8 ahead of time.

Here is the schedule:

  • Thursday, September 22: 4-11 p.m.
  • Friday, September 23: 4-11 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 24: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
