Three people displaced from home after fire on Harris Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three people are without a home after a fire Monday night on Harris Street on the city’s north side.
Rochester firefighters responded just after 10 p.m. The fire spread from the first floor to the second floor and the walls. RFD says everyone made it out safely and the fire took 30 minutes to control.
Crews say the fire appeared to be electrical. One firefighter fell because of icy conditions and was taken to the hospital for treatment. No one else was injured.
