First Alert Weather: Enjoy conditions now as heavy rain arrives Friday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After a frosty cold Wednesday morning, we will warm nicely today into the low 60s with lots of sunshine.
Beautiful weather is in store for Thursday and temperatures will be around 70 degrees. Take advantage of the pleasant weather, as the remnants of tropical system Nicole will bring beneficial soaking rain to our region on Friday afternoon and night.
Models are indicating a solid 1-2″ of rain will fall with more possible locally. We need to monitor this closely as some minor flooding may become possible if we see heavier totals.
After that storm clears much colder weather returns this weekend into next week with possible rain and snow showers. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest updates on the rain totals for the end of the week.
