ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A cold front will approach the region later on Monday with an increasing threat of showers and thunderstorms during the midday and afternoon hours.

It won’t be a rainout but be prepared to dodge a few drops and local thundery downpours with a gust of wind. It will be mainly dry weather ahead for your Friday night.

Looking at the weekend, clouds will be tough to get rid of on Saturday with a cooler breeze out of the north. There will be a slight feeling of fall in the air Saturday.

Summer bounces back on Sunday with sunshine and temps into the mid-80s. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on any storms that develop this afternoon.
