ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We will see a quiet night with increasing clouds overnight with temperatures dipping down to 24 degrees. Friday will be cloudy with light snow showers moving in from the west of Rochester around noon.
The evening commute shouldn’t be too bad as the higher March sun angle will work against the snow accumulating quickly on the roads during the afternoon. Snow will stick a bit easier as we get into the evening and overnight.
The higher snow totals will be at Route 104 and north along with the higher elevations south of the thruway. Overnight lows will dip down into the 20s with wind gusting up to 30 mph. We will see light snow showers off and on during the day Saturday with high temperatures climbing into the low 30s with wind chill values in the 20s.
Sunday will be a bit milder with high temperatures into the upper 30s. We are watching the next potential snowstorm for Tuesday into Wednesday. The track and impact from the storm is still uncertain but, you will want to keep tuned to News10NBC for the latest updates over the weekend.
