ROCHESTER, N.Y. — There will be lots of sunshine on Thursday morning, which will fade behind some increasing clouds in the afternoon as more humid weather returns to the region.

Most of us stay dry on Thursday but there will be an isolated pop-up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. A cold front arrives on Friday with a better chance for some showers and thundery downpours with a gust of wind but it won’t be a rainout.

The good news is the front clears on Friday night and sets the stage for a nice weekend. There will be a cooler breeze on Saturday with sunny and warmer weather on Sunday. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the thunder threat Friday and some heat for early next week.
