ROCHESTER, N.Y. Starting off today on a great note with plenty of clear skies and temperatures on the cooler side once again.
Once again though, we are expected to warm up. With all the sunshine in place this morning and afternoon we are expected to warm up into the mid and low 80s. Skies will remain clear through a good chunk of today, but clouds will increase from the south as we move into the evening hours today.
No rain is expected, but by tonight we will be looking at mainly cloudy skies ahead of our next chance for showers on Sunday.
Sunday, which has been looking mainly dry the last few days, has begun to trend wetter with showers moving in during the afternoon. It looks like a few showers will also be possible for folks in the Finger Lakes early Sunday morning as well.
A washout is not expected locally, but showers are moving a bit quicker than anticipated, which means showers will likely be around in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies are expected otherwise with highs only reaching the mid 70s due to the thick cloud cover and the showers around.
Our shower chances continue into early this week, but Monday nor Tuesday look to be a washout neither. A mixture of clouds and sun is expected with occasional rain showers and a few rumbles on Monday before a little rain on Tuesday.
