ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ve spent the last three afternoons in the 70s, and we should have at least one, maybe two more to come. Tuesday should be another lovely late October day, with sunshine mixed with some clouds, and highs in the lower to mid 70s. We’ll start to see some changes on Wednesday, as a cold front approaches. We’ll start the day off dry and mild, with highs flirting with 70, but showers will develop around lunchtime, which will put an end to our late summer-like temperatures. We’ll fall back into the 50s for highs on Thursday, with any showers likely ending early in the morning, and a clearing sky. After that, we’ll see another dry stretch of weather with a fair amount of sun into the weekend, but more seasonable temperatures. Highs will hold in the 50s on Friday, then likely the lower half of the 60s into the weekend.
If you’re planning ahead for Halloween evening, the weather doesn’t look too scary. We’ll be tracking our next system, which may begin to spread some showers into western New York by Halloween evening, but at this point, we expect temperatures to remain on the mild side. We’ll continue to update and tweak that Halloween forecast this week.
