ROCHESTER, N.Y. — There’s more gloomy weather to start the new week with lots of clouds and a few flurries in the air for Monday.

Temperatures will stay in the low 30s with a damp, cold north breeze. Some of that will clear on Tuesday but temps remain on the chilly side.

Fair weather is in store for Wednesday. Looking ahead to the end of the week a storm system will be traveling across the nation and arriving here Thursday evening.

We have issued a Yellow Alert for Friday as a heads up to keep an eye on the forecast later in the week as some snow or a wintry mix is likely.

At this time it does not appear to be a major storm for us but some accumulations are possible. Stay tuned for updates on that system and also the threat for some local lake snows this weekend.
