Geneva man accused of sexually assaulting child under 13

GENEVA, N.Y. — A Geneva man is accused of sexually assaulting a child under 13 years-old.

Geneva Police arrested Jorge Rodriguez-Merced, 30, on Wednesday afternoon and charged him with predatory sexual assault against a child. Officers say Rodriguez-Merced knew the victim and the sexual assault happened over the course of 2022.

Police are still investigating.
