Greece officers come to aid of trapped red-tailed hawk

GREECE, N.Y. — Greece Police had a different sort of search-and-rescue mission — for a red-tailed hawk.
Officers got a call saying a hawk was trapped in a puddle and unable to move. Animal Control Officer Daggs quickly responded. The hawk was safely rescued and is now receiving care, so it can fly another day.
