The Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association is reporting harmful algal blooms in Canandaigua lake.
The association says most of the blooms have been reported along the east side of the lake — but they’ve received at least one report of a bloom on the west side, too.
Avoid these blooms and areas of green, discolored water — and be especially careful with pets.
