How to recycle Christmas trees in Monroe County

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Are you looking to recycle your Christmas tree now that Christmas has finished?
Monroe County has multiple drop-off locations to chip your tree into landscape mulch or compost it instead of throwing it in a landfill. You drop of trees at the Monroe County Ecopark at 10 Avion Drive at the compost center during its regular hours.
