How to watch the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics

One of the biggest high points of the Olympics is the opening ceremony.

Athletes parade in proudly, wearing and waving the colors of their country.

The ceremony starts at 1:30 EST Friday and is expected to run about three hours.

The ceremony airs on NBC, and will be streamed on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC app, and the NBC Olympics app – both of which are available in your app store.

An encore presentation will air at 7:30 EST Friday on NBC.
