Roc Summer Soul Fest starts Friday, Saxophonist Jimmie Highsmith performs on News10NBC Today
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The 26th annual Roc Summer Soul Musical Festival returns on Friday and runs through Saturday. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 6 p.m.
The festival is coming to Frontier Field. You can see the artist lineup here. Grammy award-winning and platinum artist Babyface will headline this year’s festival. In addition to music, there will be tailgating and a job fair.
A two-day pass to Roc Soul Fest is $79. Tickets for Friday only are $15 or higher and tickets for Saturday only are $69. You can buy tickets here.
Grammy-nominated saxophonist Jimmie Highsmith Jr. played a tune for us in the studio to celebrate the start of the Roc Soul Fest. Highsmith of Rochester has performed with music legends including Alicia Keys, Wynton Marsalis, and Chris Botti.
