UPDATE: Man shot in foot at Adeline Park in Greece; Police say shooting accidental

GREECE, N.Y. – Greece Police say a 20-year-old man was shot in the foot in Adeline Park on Armstrong Road in Greece at 7:05 p.m. on Monday. The Greece man was treated at a local hospital for an injury that was not life-threatening.

Police say they recovered the gun used on Tuesday and determined it had been fired accidentally.

Police are investigating, and anyone with infromation is asked to call 911.
