ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police went to Avenue C and Conkey Avenue at 4 p.m. on Sunday for a report of two people shot. While there they learned that two people were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.

Officers did find a scene on Avenue C. The area of Conkey and Avenue C will remain closed during the investigation. 

A 30-year-old city man had a gunshot wound to the upper body. He is in critical but stable condition. The other victim is a 23-year-old city man who had a gunshot wound to the upper body and his condition is not life-threatening.

There is no one in custody and police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
