ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A local healthcare provider is being recognized federally for contributions to the community.
Trillium Health announced on Friday that it’s been awarded two badges by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration. The badges are for two areas, addressing social risk factors and advancing health information technology.
Trillium president and CEO Andrea Demeo said: “As a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, our goal is to provide extraordinary care to our patients, regardless of ability to pay. We’re proud of our commitment to promoting health equity by addressing the social determinants of health, and we’re dedicated to using technology to increase access to care.”
Trillium Health has several Monroe County locations.
