Police arrest, charge teen in stabbing on Ridgeway Avenue

UPDATE: Police have arrested 19-year-old Lanae Simone Mikel of Rochester in connection to the stabbing. She’s been charged with second-degree assault and brought to Monroe County Jail Tuesday morning.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An 18 year old was stabbed after an argument on Ridgeway Avenue near Dewey Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Rochester Police found her around 1:45 a.m. An ambulance took the teen to Strong Hospital and she is expected to survive.
RPD is still investigating and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
