Genesee Street shooting leaves man hospitalized

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 31, is recovering after a shooting Monday morning on Genesee Street near Frost Avenue.
Rochester Police officers responded around 5:20 a.m. and found the victim with an upper-body gunshot wound. An ambulance took him to Strong Memorial Hospital and he is expected to survive.
RPD is still investigating and is asking anyone with inforamtion to call 911.
