ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man is recovering after being shot overnight on Clifford Avenue near Portland Avenue.

He was shot in the lower body just after 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. An ambulance took him to Strong Hospital and he is expected to survive.

Rochester Police are still investigating the shooting and they’re asking anyone with information to call 911.
