Man, 59, dies after motorcycle hits tree in Lyons

LYONS, N.Y. — A 59-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle left the road and hit a tree in Lyons.

The deadly crash happened on Saturday around 2:40 p.m. on Layton Street Road. New York State Police say the crash injured Roger Silcox of Lyons and he later died at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
