Man expected to survive after being shot in Geneva

GENEVA, N.Y. — A 19-year-old man is recovering after he was shot Saturday night in Geneva.

Geneva Police say they responded to the scene at 5 p.m. on North Genesee Street, and found the victim with a gunshot wound. He was brought to a local medical facility and is in stable condition.

Police believe the shooting was isolated, and does not pose a threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing.
