Man hospitalized after being shot multiple times on Tremont Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man in his 40s is in the hospital after being shot multiple times on Thursday night, on Tremont Street near Jefferson Avenue.
Rochester police found the victim at around 11:45 p.m. lying in the middle of the road. Officers applied a tourniquet to this leg to stop the bleeding.
An ambulance took the man to Strong Hospital for treatment. Medical staff report that he is in stable condition.
RPD has no suspects at this time.
