Man hospitalized after stabbing on Jay and Child Streets

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after a stabbing on Sunday night on the city’s west side.

Rochester Police responded to Strong Memorial Hospital around 9:15 p.m. after getting reports of a walk-in stabbing victim. The man is expected to survive.

Officers eventually determined that the stabbing happened on Jay and Child streets. No one is in custody and police are looking into what led up to the stabbing.
