Man stabbed near Public Market Saturday night

ROCHESTER, N.Y.- There was a stabbing near the public market around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Police say a 33-year-old city man was stabbed on Railroad Street in his chest. He was taken to the hospital where he’s expected to recover.

It’s believed this was a domestic-related incident where the victim was the aggressor and faces charges. The suspect was acting in self-defense and was not charged.
