ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the renovations to the Bronson Avenue playground on Dr. Samuel McCree Way.
The upgrades include a full-size basketball court, outdoor classroom with boulder seating, benches, bike racks, and sidewalks.
“This is a great space for all of us, it’s a space for people to come and enjoy and understand that in order for us to have an equitable and safe Rochester, it starts with having great outdoor spaces and this is evidence of that,” Mayor Malik Evans said.
The design was created with input and feedback from neighbors.
