MCSO plans to use AI to train deputies to write reports
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office plans to use an artificial intelligence program to train deputies to write reports.
Deputies say the tool, which is part of a package from its body-worn camera vendor, is not in use now. The plan is to use it for non-criminal incident reports.
The sheriff’s office says the program forces a deputy to review, edit, and verify all information in the report to make sure it’s accurate.
