NYSP investigate fatal fire in Steuben County

BATH, N.Y. – On Thursday the New York State Police responded to a fatal house fire on Bonny Hill Road in the town of Bath. Troopers were not able to enter the home because of heavy smoke. After the fire was put out, one resident, Joyce Kautz, was found dead in her bedroom.  

The investigation is ongoing.
