OGDEN, N.Y. — Buffalo Road near Westside Drive was closed in both directions on Friday morning as police say an SUV hit a semi-truck at 4:30 a.m.
Ogden Police said they responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a semi-truck on Buffalo Road and Westside Drive. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Gates Ambulance, and the Spencerport Fire District also responded to the scene.
Police said an SUV driven by a 64-year-old man on Buffalo Road crashed into the truck’s trailer as the semi-truck was backing onto private property.
As a result, the 64-year-old man was taken to the hospital with minor arm injuries.
Police said this is still an ongoing investigation and at this time there are no signs of drugs and alcohol and the accident seems not to be criminal in nature.
