ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A non-profit held a walk in Rochester to support those affected by brain cancer. The Brain Injury Association of New York held its “March on for Brain Injury” walk at Seneca Park Saturday morning.

Their goal was to spread awareness, while also honoring survivors, caregivers, and professionals. Dozens of people showed up to help raise money and show their support.

“It’s all to celebrate the brain injury community, to honor and celebrate some of our brain injury survivors. Rochester’s honoree is Ms. Kelly Thune, who has an amazing story of discovery and trying to reinvent herself after her career path was derailed by a brain injury.
