Four people arrested after chase with stolen car in Irondequoit

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A woman on probation and three youths were arrested after Irondequoit Police said they were in a stolen car that led them on a chase overnight on Tuesday.

The chase ended when the stolen Kia crashed into another car. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw the crash at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Ridge Road around midnight.

The woman is accused of stealing the car and violating her probation. She is charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen property. She was given an appearance ticket and turned over to Monroe County sheriff’s deputies.

One of the youths was taken to the Children’s Detention Center in Rush. Another was given an appearance ticket and the last one was arraigned in youth part court. Irondequoit Police said some of the youths already had criminal possession of a weapon arrests and one was wanted for questioning by another department.

It appears that no one was seriously injured in the crash.
