Police: Dirt bike operator fighting for life after crash on Jay Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A dirt bike operator is fighting for his life Friday night after crashed into the side of a building on Jay Street, near West Broad Street, shortly after 6 p.m.
Rochester Police — while investigating another dirt bike crash at Jay and Lisbon streets in which a dirt bike struck a motor vehicle and dove off — were sent to the crash at the building. The driver was unconscious, police said. He was taken by AMR to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for what police called “very serious” and “life-threatening” injuries.
The road has reopened for traffic.
