UPDATE: Man found shot and seriously injured on North Goodman Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A man was shot at least once while in his car on Tuesday afternoon, with injuries considered to be serious though not life-threatening, police say.
Rochester Police say they found a 45-year-old man from Rochester suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body – as well as a vehicle that had been struck several times by gunfire. Police were responding to North Goodman Street, near Diringer Place, at about 3:27 p.m. for the report of shots heard and the possibility of a vehicle hit.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
There are no suspects currently in custody, and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
