Grand jury indicts man accused of murder on Farragut Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A grand jury indicted a man accused of a murder on Farragut Street on the city’s southwest side in February.
Kwame Acosta, 34, is charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, and two gun crimes. Rochester Police say he shot two men, both 27, during an argument on Farragut Street last Thursday. The shooting killed Davarcea Fort and injured the other man.
When officers responded to the shooting, they found Fort dead inside a home and the other 27-year-old suffering from an upper body gunshot wound. Acosta was arrested on Feb. 27 after an investigation into the shooting.
